Welcome to our website
Formed as a charity in 1976, the Windsor Talking Newspaper (WTN) makes a weekly recording of articles about Windsor, Maidenhead, Slough and the surrounding areas, taken from the local newspapers; the Royal Borough Observer, the Slough and Windsor Express and the Maidenhead Advertiser. There is a rota of six groups recording local news each week. The recording made on a USB memory stick is sent by post to our listeners.
From January 2024, WTN's weekly recordings will be provided to former listeners of Slough & District Talking Newspaper, who have requested to receive them.

Volunteers, Pamela, Maxine and Sonia completed a 10 mile sponsored walk on Saturday 27 September 2025 in Windsor Great Park to raise money to buy extra equipment to enable more people with a visual impairment to use our service.
